This week I’m talking about framing, not the frame around the image, but the frame within the image. When seeking out locations for a portrait session, we can easily miss the simple little things around us that can make a portrait more interesting
Finding out what interests your clients have, goes a long way to a successful session. I photographed these boys on their family property doing what they enjoy most, dirt bike riding.
In this post I am comparing two images taken at the same location. The portrait of the boy and girl above was taken at one of my first sessions at this location, an Historical Village nearby. I love the emotional contact between brother and sister, but there was something not quite right.
Welcome to this weeks post, “Facial Recognition”. This is a small part of the topic covered in my eBook, Natural Light Portraiture.
